Horseshoe Canada
now has its own domain name:

Since March 15, 2002, Horseshoe Canada association's new domain name is effective. The former URL was: http://www.fqjr.qc.ca/hcan.html but is now replaced by http://www.horseshoecanada.ca. The domain name horseshoecanada.ca was obtained and paid for 10 years by Horseshoe Canada (0058815 Canada inc o/a Horseshoe Canada Association) with the help of la Federation quebecoise des jeux recreatifs. It was obtained through "webdomaine.qc.ca", one of the certified registrar of the CIRA (the Canadian Internet Registration Authority for the ".ca" domain names).

One of the main advantage of having a domain name is that Horseshoe Canada's website address will always remain the same no matter if we change our internet provider. The "horseshoecanada.ca" domain name is currently hosted by the Regroupement Loisir Quebec, which is very high speed and provides us with 20 megs of space for $20 a month.

This space will allow us to gradually add more information and pictures to our site. We already began by including pictures and profiles of our Horseshoe Canada Hall of Fame members.
