Sheila took part in 23 Canadian Championships from 1978 to 2002 more than any other woman (except Myrna Kissick who also participated 23 times). Sheila won the 1990 Canadian Women's title and the 1997 Canadian Senior Ladies title. Her personal high at the Canadians was 70.2% in 1994.

After being diagnosed with M.S., she qualified twice in the Championship division at the World Tournament, finishing 9th in 1998 (with 66.4%) and 17th in 1999 (with 56.5%).
