This game was played recently at the 2007 Merv Lichty Memorial
which produces annually many good battles.
Being mixed, we usually find a lot of former World, Canadian or provincial
Champions in the top group.
The longest game this year was 96 shoes and involved Drew Becker 
(2002 and 2003 Junior Boys World Champion) and Lucille Leis (2006 Senior 
Ladies World Champion).  The game featured 19 four deads and
ironically ended on a double miss, Lucille's only one for the whole game.
A great performance considering it was played under cold weather 
(around 10 degrees celcius).
Drew, in his first complete year pitching from 40 feet, went on to win 
the Men's title with an overall 66.2% average,
while Lucille finished 3rd in the group with 70.1%.
