This picture was taken by Ron Leis at the 2003 Elmer Hohl Ringer Classic (see the EHRC champions through the years). Bob Jones had captured his 2nd title in what was to be his last participation (Bob passed away in December 2003).
Bernie Baetz passed away recently on February 25, 2008 at age 73 (see the Toll of Time section). Bernie was President of the K-W Khaki Club in Wellesley for more than 30 years!
In this picture we can see part of the Art Berg Memorial Building where Bernie could be seen almost every day. Bernie, a former Horseshoe Ontario President, was also chairman of the
Horseshoe Ontario Hall of Fame committee. He was inducted into that Hall of Fame in 1998. It will be strange not to see him anymore at the K-W Khaki club...
