CANADIANS HORSESHOE PITCHERS INDUCTED INTO
OTHER SPORTS HALL OF FAME

Recently, Tom Gallina was inducted into the Guelph Sports Hall of Fame. Horseshoe pitching usually getting few attention in the world of sports, pitchers being inducted into Sports hall of fame is quite an exploit. To give more exposure to our sport, maybe you can submit names of deserving horseshoe pitching personalities to your local Sports Hall of Fame. The following list though probably not exhaustive, gives you an idea that it may not be in vain. Of particular interest is the fact that at least two horseshoe pitchers have been inducted into their provincial sports hall of fame!

Canadians members of Sports Hall of Fame:

Note: If you know more Canadian horseshoe pitching personalities that are members of other sports Hall of Fame don't hesitate to forward the information! It should be noted here that Weikko Koivisto, father of Thunder Bay's Terry Koivisto, was inducted into the Northwest Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 1984 as an all-round sports athlete.
