Eighty-seven-year-old Larry Markle, a nine time senior horseshoe pitching champion, is among the 500 or so Hamilton seniors who are taking part in the annual Hamilton Senior Games. The games began May 1 and continue to June 5 at venues across the city. Gold medal winners will be invited to take part in Actifest 2006, the Ontario Senior Games, which are being held in Hamilton Aug. 14-16.
