Quesnel Horseshoe Club may have hosted its Fall Wind-up Tourney last weekend, but pitching isn’t over for the season.
For the Labour Day long weekend, Quesnel will host B.C. Horseshoe Championships.
Local pitchers will ring in the long weekend with players from across the province for the three-day event.
Quesnel hosted the province-wide championships in 2001 and realized the biggest ever turnout.
Jeanette Ferrara of Quesnel’s club hopes for an even greater turnout this year.
In addition to shoe pitching, the tourney will have music, camping, beer gardens and a banquet.
The public is invited to watch the action.
