Blainville horseshoe courts named after Rene Croteau
Rene Croteau received a great honor on October 6, 2013, when the City of Blainville decided to name the new horseshoe courts built at “parc Equestre”:
the Rene-Croteau horseshoe courts (Terrain de fers René-Croteau).
A group made mostly of Blainville horseshoe league members are pictured with the banner which will be exposed until winter.
The City of Blainville also organized a contest in partnership with schools from the region to design a logo for the horseshoe courts. It will probably be part of a more permanent sign identifying the courts that will be revealed at the start of next season. Congratulations to Rene for this well deserved honor, and thanks to the City of Blainville for the great ceremony and initiative.
